Choose target size, enter 2MB, 500KB or another limit, then upload your PDF and start. OlimPDF tries different settings to find a result that fits. Targets must be between 64KB and 100MB and smaller than the original file. Some documents cannot reach the target within the search limits; the result shows the actual size and any shortfall.
Will PDF compression affect text and image quality?
The lossless level optimizes the file without changing the page appearance. Other levels and target sizes may reduce image quality. Text in a scan is part of the image, so stronger compression can blur small print. Text PDFs keep their text and vector content.
